This figure makes three points:
One caution: in Chinese, “气流磨” (airflow mill) refers to a different machine — a Jet Mill, which relies purely on high-pressure air streams colliding and has no blades. Do not mix the two up when talking to customers.

Read Fig. 2 as three steps, matching the three motors:

The key setting in the figure: classifier wheel speed is the “threshold” for output fineness. The faster it spins, the finer the powder allowed through — so from 60 to 2500 mesh you never change the machine; you simply adjust the classifier motor frequency at startup.

The four teammates and their jobs (linked together, they form one “vacuum cleaner”):

Why can’t the main machine work alone? Because the classifier wheel is only a “security gate” — it checks fineness but does not carry powder. Powder can only leave with airflow, and that airflow is created by the induced-draft fan at the far end. Main unit + cyclone + bag filter + fan, joined into one negative-pressure pipeline — only this counts as a “complete grinding system”.
Q1: Is the screw feeder standard equipment on ultrafine mills?
A: Yes. In production-scale complete systems, “hopper + variable-frequency screw feeder” is the industry-standard configuration — in the standard ACM process flow diagram it is the very first link. It does two jobs at once: metered feeding keeps the fineness stable, and the material bed seals the inlet so outside air cannot leak in and break the negative pressure. One note: a bare “main unit” bought alone does not include it — when quoting, write clearly “including screw feeder (variable-frequency)”.
Q2: Connecting the main unit to cyclone separation + pulse-jet dust collection + fan — that is the standard discharge system, right?
A: Right, that is exactly the combination. The flow: the main machine discharges “fine powder + airflow” → the cyclone first collects the main product → the pulse-jet bag filter catches the ultra-fine powder and cleans the exhaust → the induced-draft fan draws the air away and vents it. All sections are linked by negative-pressure ducting — this is the industry-standard discharge (powder collection) system.
Feed evenly → grind fine → classify strictly; air carries → cyclone collects → bag cleans → fan pulls. One complete set, done.
(In the mantra, “bag” = Pulse-Jet Dust Collector — shortened for easy recall.)
Three self-test questions (check what you have absorbed):
Answers: ① False — a Jet Mill has no blades and works by pure air-stream collision; it is a different machine. ② Finer — higher speed means a stricter pass threshold. ③ Air — the negative-pressure airflow drawn by the induced-draft fan at the end.
