When materials enter the crushing chamber, they are subjected to intense impact, shearing, and friction between the rotor and stator, leading to preliminary fragmentation.

The crushed particles are carried by airflow or centrifugal force into the classification system (such as a turbine classifier). Fine powders that meet the particle size requirement pass through the gap of the classification wheel and are discharged, while coarse particles are returned to the crushing chamber for re-grinding until the target particle size is achieved.
