Technical Differences Between BS Hammer Mill Grinding Unit and BSDF 3-Stage Advanced Hammer Mill Unit
In the field of industrial production, crushing equipment plays a vital role. The BS Hammer Mill Grinding Unit and the BSDF 3-Stage Advanced Hammer Mill Unit are two common types of crushing equipment, each with its own distinct features.
In terms of energy consumption and production capacity, the two units differ significantly. When the power consumption of both machines is the same, the BSDF 3-Stage Advanced Hammer Mill Unit delivers a much higher output. This is thanks to its efficient 3-stage crushing structure and optimized workflow, which allow it to process more material under the same energy consumption, greatly improving production efficiency and reducing energy costs per product.
The BSDF 3-Stage Advanced Hammer Mill Unit equipped with three sets of blades for coarse, medium, and fine grinding, it crushes materials three times in an extremely short period, resulting in much finer powder. In contrast, the ordinary hammer mill unit has only one set of blades and relies on an internal screen mesh. Limited by its single-stage crushing, it cannot achieve the same fineness, and the particle size of the crushed material tends to be uneven.
There are also notable differences in ease of use and fineness adjustment. The ordinary hammer mill unit depends on screens to control fineness. These screens are wear-prone parts, and the finer the screen, the shorter its lifespan. Adjusting the product fineness requires shutting down the machine to replace the screen, in addition to replacing worn blades. The BSDF Unit, on the other hand, adjusts crushing fineness through an inverter. Although it also requires blade replacements, its liner ring has a service life of up to two years, making operation and maintenance more convenient.
Regarding equipment temperature rise, the BSDF Unit generates almost no heat during crushing due to its screen-free design. The ordinary hammer mill unit, however, is prone to screen clogging when processing oily materials, leading to a sharp increase in machine temperature and affecting operational stability.
When it comes to powder quality, temperature is critical. Whether crushing food, spices, or herbs, if the powder is exposed to high temperatures, its taste and aroma can be adversely affected. The ordinary hammer mill generates more heat, posing a potential risk to material quality. In contrast, the BSDF 3-Stage Advanced Hammer Mill Unit produces minimal heat, better preserving the original flavor and quality of the materials.
